Key Biscayne might be small, but its allure and charm remain unmatched for a tropical destination. This tiny sliver of land in South Florida offers all the beauty and excitement of a tropical island alongside the peace and warmth of quaint, family-friendly neighborhoods. If you are considering buying a home in Key Biscayne, especially if you have a family, the many outdoor activities, palm-tree-lined streets, and shops and restaurants of Key Biscayne will melt your heart. During holidays and weekends, however, you and your loved ones can slow down and catch a game or two at these amazing Key Biscayne parks.

    Village Green Park

Spanning 9.5 acres, Village Green is a beloved park located at the heart of Key Biscayne. It is an excellent place to kick back after a long day looking at homes for sale in Key Biscayne FL and you and your family can enjoy amenities such as a half-mile jogging course, a small shade pavilion, an interactive splash fountain, and several multi-use open fields. Village Green also features a large fountain at the center and benches set in the shade where you can relax as your kids play.

Lake Park and East Enid Linear Park

The slightly smaller space of Lake Park is just as relaxing and functional as Village Green. The one-acre park is located on the corner of East Enid Drive and Crandon Boulevard and features a small pavilion set in the shade and overlooking a lake. As you lounge in this area, you can also enjoy the soothing aeration fountain in Lake Park. You can also stroll through the ten-foot wide, half-mile-long shaded brick walkway that is Enid Linear Park and enjoy some fresh air.

    Beach Park

The newest park in Key Biscayne, Beach Park, is located on the ocean. Beach Park takes full advantage of its proximity to the water and features a walkthrough splash fountain, a palm entrance plaza, and other thrilling amenities. You and your family can also enjoy restrooms with fully functional showers, an expansive shade pavilion, and a dune walkthrough to the beach. However, you will need an electronic access card to enter Beach Park, as it is only open to residents.

St. Agnes Field and Key Biscayne K-8 Center Field

If your kids like to play in the sun, you will enjoy the facilities at St. Agnes Field. Located at 100 Harbor Drive, this field features a full basketball court and several multi-use fields. It is mostly used for adult and youth sports, and you can always catch a game. You can enjoy similar sights and scenes at Key Biscayne K-8 Center Field. Managed by the school district and the town, the space features a baseball and softball field with dugouts and a backstop, a soccer field, and two basketball courts – one adult and one youth.
